Derbyshire, the Derbyshire Dales, and the Peak Distrct are a beautiful and fascinating place for the whole family. Stunning landscapes, excitement, nightlife, shopping, and activities galore make it one of the countries hot spots when it comes to a scenic break or a family getaway. The area is a mix of old world villages, stunning scenery (the peak district national park is of course a must visit). It had busy towns, excellent entertainment, and of course the major attractions such as Gullivers Kingdom and Alton Towers (in nearby Staffordshire) are all within easy reach.
