Our family has proudly called Dannah Farm home since 1985, when Joan and her late husband, Martin, began welcoming their first guests alongside life on the family farm. What started as a small venture has grown into one of Derbyshire’s most highly regarded luxury Bed & Breakfasts, built on a reputation for genuine hospitality, exceptional breakfasts and thoughtful attention to every detail.

Today, Joan and her team continue that tradition, welcoming guests with the same warmth and personal service that have been at the heart of Dannah Farm for more than 40 years. Our renowned English Farmhouse Breakfasts are, of course, included in your room rate. Eating out locally is a real treat and a wonderful way of exploring the area and we are lucky to have a wide variety of local restaurants we can highly recommend.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer evening meals. However, guests can enjoy takeaways in their rooms. We hold a drinks licence and can provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your meal if required.

We are lucky to have many attractions and activities close by. From the sumptuous Chatsworth House to the magnificent Kedleston Hall. From Crich Tramway Museum and the famous caves at Castleton to the cable cars at Matlock Bath. For the more energetic Carsington Water has many water sports and is located close by. The thrills and spills of Alton Towers are within easy reach too. Take in a play at the fantastic Buxton Opera House, or discover endless pretty villages. Bakewell, Ashbourne, Tissington, and Eyam are all close by.
